My first contribution to this project was the name itself. The cosmetics team enlisted the support of the MENA team to lend an identity to the skinline, and of the options we presented, they chose one of my submissions - Sarmad, an Arabic word meaning “eternal”.

Then we worked with a production company based in Egypt to reach out to Dr. Mohammad Yousef, an archeologist who appeared on the Netflix show, “Secrets of the Saqqara Tomb”. We provided him with a list of the references and gods whose appearances the skin was based on, and worked on crafting a script that was authentic to him.

To make the content available to a wider audience, I also worked on localising the video and created English subtitles. This made it easier for other Riot offices to share it on their channels.
