Hextech Battles
Bringing the world of Arcane to players in an activation that bridges between storytelling and play.

During the second season of Arcane, we wanted to engage players with the narrative being explored, which focused heavily on the battle of Piltover versus Zaun, while also incentivizing them to spend more time in the game, particularly in the new map that was released in the game in honour of the second season.
Players were able to find out which faction they beloved in by completing a personality test based on the characters of Arcane, then all they needed to go was play games and answer trivia questions in order to rack up points for their faction and unlock milestones. With each milestone unlocked, they would earn a reward.
The campaign created an impact in gaming hours for its three weeks of run time, and achieved a higher penetration rate in our playerbase than any other League campaign we launched in the region.
